If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room. I overheard this little gem the other day and it stuck with me. Sure there’s a fleeting gratification in owning your setting, but there is nothing like the fulfillment derived from knowing that you’re staying afloat in a consistently challenging environment, even if you’re just treading water. By that standard, I would say I am most certainly in the right room cublicle.
Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Farrell and I am the newest member of the team here at Privy! I’ll be taking charge of managing our client relationships, but in the meantime I’ve been soaking up every bit of knowledge I can from my amazing colleagues. Right off the bat, I have been blown away by the savvy, intelligent, kickass people that I will now have the privilege to work with on a daily basis.
It all starts with Ben, the godfather, who originally conceived the idea for Privy. Born from the desire to help small businesses thrive in a shifting environment, Privy is a modern marketing platform created to empower merchants by equipping them with the tools to establish and track their online customer bases. Ben conjured this vision and brought it to life, but he knew he couldn’t do it alone, so he decided to go out and recruit a team of all stars. Enter, the dream team.
First we have Josh, the whiz kid, our chief architect/engineer. Right now he’s plugged in around the clock building our MVP, which he will be unveiling before the end of this week! But back to Josh- this guy is wicked smaaat. Moreover, he is a true blue, get ‘er done type of guy. And when the work is done, Josh is always down for an adventure- whether that means mountain biking, sailing or running laps around the Charles.
Then comes Vadim, our sultan of sales. Can you say, show me the money?? To say he’s got his bases covered would be a gross understatement. In fact, he’s got his bases rigged with booby traps so intricate, not even Ricky Henderson could sneak by. He’s consistently two steps ahead of the game. Oh, and did I mention he’s also in a band…with his identical twin brother?
Last but not least, we’ve got our baller intern and social media guru, Anna. She’s joined the team for the summer to help bring the Privy brand to life. From T-shirt design to blogging, she’s helping everyone to get privy.
We also have a top secret chief marketing strategist currently working remotely, who will be joining the team full-time in the next couple months to really shake things up. Stay tuned for more on that! In the meantime, back to the doggy paddle.
