King’s Lanes is a well known bowling and gaming establishment in the greater Boston area, but when they opened up their newest location in Rosemont, IL, they turned to Privy to help them gain some early traction. The fine folks at Kings are what you might call, social media experts, so they really wanted to give us a test drive as a way to drive customers through their facebook page. Sure we tried to nudge them to install our product on their website but when you market yourself with Privy, you're in control.
The Offer: Kings decided to run a Buy One game of bowling, get one free, and they also threw in a free shoe rental.

Drumroll please, and now the results.
Number of New facebook likes for their page: 71
Number of Direct facebook likes on the offer itself: 66 (as seen in the image below)
Number of times the promotion was re-shared on facebook: 4--> exposure to over 1,600 friends of friends.
And last but certainly not least...
Number of Customers on the promotion: 152
If you crunch the numbers, and divide 152 customers over the five times they auto posted the offer, that means that Kings earned an average of 30 customers for each facebook post. That is absolutely incredible.
Thanks to Privy’s sweetest new feature- one click sharing- King’s was able to create a promo, link their Facebook account, kick back and watch the results pour in. The results from using privy on social media in the first 24 hours alone were staggering, and to end the campaign with 152 new customer email addresses was a fabulous start to their use of Privy.
So, how’d we do it (clue: it’s not magic)? The simple fact of the matter is that the people who interact with your business or brand on Facebook are looking specifically for offers and specials. They want to be privy to what’s going on with your business. So share information that is interesting and relevant, keep your fans and followers in the know, and give them a reason to interact with your business online!
