#PrivyPlaces A Behind the Scenes Look at Bambootori - opening soon in NYC

 If you take a quick look at the below picture, you might think that Christophe, Hendy and Jonathan, the guys behind Bambootori, aren't even old enough to order a drink. But that's besides the point. These guys know good Yakitori. Yakitori s a term that refers to skewered foods with a delicious yakitori sauce. The cuisine is common in places like Japan, and the Bambootori guys are excited to put their twist on Yakitori in the heart of New York City.

It turns out they happened to be opening their first location right outside our New York office. It certainly seems like the stars were aligned on this one. So yesterday we decided to head over for a visit and see how their build out is coming along. 

Starting a company ain't easy. But Christophe, Hendy and Jonathan, who met while taking classes at Babson College, really wanted to bring their passion for Yakitori to New York. They're now hard at work, preparing diligently for their opening in October. Although they're currently focused on new furniture and construction, they've already started to execute their online marketing, opening up their facebook page, twitter account and website. We're excited to work with them in preparation for launch to help them maximize their first few weeks, and beyond.

But the real key to Bambootori is in the prep work. They're focusing on fresh ingredients, and fast prep time.  They've even thinking they can have your skewer fully cooked in under 3 minutes. Not too shabby, huh?
